Engraved Stones

Stone is one of my favorite substrates to blast.

You can blast or carve sandstone,marble,granite,river rocks,tile,pavers,concrete and much more. Blasting medium and pressures ally differently to each type of stone.

 Here is a photo of a precast stone that I made for our garden.The photo shown here is right after I sandblasted it using 180 aluminum oxide with 3 mil paint mask.

Once I was done sandblasting the stone I used gloss black lacquer sprayed with a rattel can.

Below is a picture taken after the engraved precast stone had been setting out in the Arizona heat for 3 years.

I have a river rock that sits outside my shop door that I sandblasted 5 years ago.I used 180 aluminum oxide blasted at 60psi.I painted it with black lacqure and put it out to show off my newly found hobby.
